Measure chest circumference: under the armpits across the chest

Measure waist circumference: across the navel or across the narrowest part of the body

Measure the hip circumference: across the widest point on the bottom or at the level of the pubic bone

Orientate yourself on the highest number of your measured values. Do you enjoy z. B. a lush bust size, then orientate yourself according to the chest size. If you have more to offer in the waist, then use this value as a guide and if you have female hips, then you should go for it, especially with the bottoms.

Our size table corresponds to the currently valid German clothing size table. Most manufacturers, however, do not adhere to it and tailor (for psychological reasons) much further than the size table indicates. Unfortunately, this then leads to confusion. But don't worry, even if your new golfmarie favorite item has a larger number, you will look attractive and stunning in all sizes thanks to the special golfmarie slim look design!

1. The chest width in the table gives you the first clue as to which size fits you.

Example: measured 100 cm chest width
Then size 50 fits or, if you like it very loose, size 52 too.

2. The waist measurement is the 2nd step.

Example: measured 92 cm waist circumference
Then 50 is a perfect match in any case. With an article width of 108 cm in size 50, you would have a loose 4 cm of air all around for enough freedom of movement.

If you have more to offer around the middle of the body than others, then the size should be chosen in which the article width is at least 4 cm larger than your measured waist.

Example: measured 108 cm waist circumference
Then size 52 would be right. This means that with +4 cm you would still have 1 cm of "air" all around.


If you prefer your shirts to be cut close to the body or if you are very slim, then you can choose your top in the slim-fit version. Read the answers under "What is a slim fit?"


You can also have your shirts shorter than normal. The best thing to do is to measure your favorite shirt at home and compare it to our stated article length. Then you know whether you should order your new golfmarie favorite shirt shortened. Read the answers under "Where do you measure the article length?"

If you prefer your shirts to be cut close to the body or if you are very slim, then you can choose your top with the slim-fit option.
Slim-fit means that items are cut close to the body. If you choose slim-fit as an option for men's tops, you can specify whether you want the shirt 4 or 8 cm narrower than normal. You can find the normal article width in the article description.

The article width should ultimately be at least 4 cm larger than your measured waist so that you still have enough freedom of movement and the shirt falls nicely.

Example: you like to wear shirts that are tight-fitting and measured 96 cm chest circumference and 88 cm waist circumference:
Then size 48 would be right.
With the "slim-fit -4 cm" option you would still have 3 cm of space all around.
With the "slim-fit -8 cm" option you would still have 2 cm of space all around.

Formula:
1. Article width minus option = new slim-fit article width
2. New slim-fit article width minus measured waist circumference = freedom of movement
3. Freedom of movement: 4 (front, back, right + left) = "air" all around

Example:
104-8 = 96
96-88 = 8
8: 4 = 2 cm "air"
